Graduation 2015 prize-giving: The Alltech Award

Gordon Robinson, 25, from Sneachill, Worcester, was presented with the Alltech Award when he graduated from Harper Adams University in September, with a 2:1 Honours degree in agriculture with farm business management.
The Alltech Award is presented annually in recognition of the best assignment and exam results by a final year student taking the module “Sustainable Animal Production Systems”.
Gordon completed the placement year of his degree course in the Lamb Procurement Division of Dalehead Foods. He worked in the farm assurance and quality department, liaising with farmers. His honours research project was on economics of lamb finishing and quantifying the effect of lamb finishing time and historic seasonal price variation on the net margin of welsh lamb finishing enterprise.”
Gordon received his award from lecturer Rob Wilkinson.
